Aliro 2.0 Beta 8 Compatibility Download

Description:

The Aliro Content Management System, packaged with a number of applications that will be automatically installed when Aliro itself is installed. The selection of applications includes Aliro versions of the com_content component used in MiaCMS and Mambo, along with related components, modules and plugins. There are fewer more recent add-ons than in the bundle version of Aliro. Partial documentation is available for Aliro at http://docs.aliro.org. Basic instructions for installation are available in the Quick Start Guide.

It is possible to migrate data from an existing MiaCMS or Mambo site and details can be found in the MiaCMS migration guide and the Mambo migration guide. The intention is that these processes will be at least partially automated in future. It is almost certain (but not yet tested) that migration from Joomla 1.0.x will work in the same way. It is likely that migration of content from Joomla 1.5.x is possible, but no work has yet been done on this.
